how long does it take to learn an instrument?: There is no set answer to this question. With regular practice, a basic level of playing can be accomplished in a few months. Most of our students take lessons on a long-term basis, because they find lessons enjoyable and want to continue improving.
do you teach adults?: We have many adult students, with a variety of experience and ability levels ranging from beginners to students who want to improve technique, up to working musicians. We are prepared to work with students of all ages.
how much do lessons cost?: Prices vary on the duration of the classes. We offer 30, 45 and 60 min lessons weekly.

how do I know if I or my child will like lessons?: It is possible to start piano lessons on a keyboard. We recommend Yamaha Digital Pianos that have 88 weighted keys and a touch sensitive response. Having a damper pedal is also important. Until you are ready to buy an instrument, we have a limited number of new and used violins and guitars for rent or purchase. We also have a piano tuner we can recommend for piano repairs, tunings and moving.
what if I don’t own a piano or an instrument?: It is possible to start piano lessons on a keyboard. We recommend Yamaha Digital Pianos that have regular 88 sized keys and a touch-sensitive response. Having a damper pedal is also important. Until you are ready to buy an instrument, we have a limited number of new and used instruments for rent or purchase as well. We can also provide you with information about several rental companies as well. We have a piano tuner we can recommend for piano repairs and tunings as well.
